try using wine, it shouldn't have a problem supporting it.

just do: sudo apt-get install wine

i already have wine installed. when i try to install ventrilo through the terminal i get this error:

did you install the default font for windows into the font directory? Wine doesn't do it. That was the problem I had with steam.

LaoFX, I wouldn't install Ventrilo on Wine. Ventrilo on Wine is so buggy, I couldn't manage to use it.
