Knoppix and Data Recovery?
My friend once was telling me about Knoppix and it has some really nice Data Recovery tools... Knoppix is also a cd bootable.
__________________Anyone have anything to comment about this. My dads HDD crashed and was gona give this a shot... i just dont know anything about it.

You are probably better off using Ultimate Boot CD.
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ Don't know if it will help physically damaged drives though.
