i cant get hakin9 to boot i also ant get freespire or pclinux minime to boot but i can get ubuntu and bactrack to boot

Is there an error? Does it hang on some specific part of the boot? "Won't boot" provides no information.

i mean it wont even go to a boot screen it just goes straight to windows

You need to install a bootloader. I suggest GRUB

No, he probably has the harddrive to boot before the CD in BIOS.
Go change the boot order.
