Anyone know how to enable support for media keys on XFCE?

Yes I do.
1: use xev to recognize media key codes 2: make a ~/.Xmodmap file like this: Code:
keycode 162 = XF86AudioPlay keycode 164 = XF86AudioStop keycode 160 = XF86AudioMute keycode 144 = XF86AudioPrev keycode 153 = XF86AudioNext keycode 176 = XF86AudioRaiseVolume keycode 174 = XF86AudioLowerVolume |

Found the answer earlier on the wiki. Seemed a bit tedious, but your post put it in perspective.

I have the volume keys working. Problem is that I have to press them a lot of times for the levels to change. Is there a way to change the amount each key press increase/decreases?
