Default Is it possible to install linux in windows?

i dont want to install linux in dual boot
but i was looking for something like a virtual pc for linux
is this posible? if so how

You can use VMWare, and run Linux on that. There are guides in the Folding@Home section on how to do this I think.

You could use a live CD. You would just run the entire OS off of the disk, with no installation required. Not sure if that would ruin the purpose without data saving and whatnot, but it's a way to do it without partitioning or dual booting.
