Which one should I install first? I want 3 partitions on my drive, 1 for media, 1 for xp, 1 for Arch.
If I installed Arch first, wouldn't I have problems adding XP to GRUB afterwards?

No, adding windows to grub is very easy. And don't forget about the swap space for linux.

I assume Arch doesn't create a partition all nice like Ubuntu did. Any tutorials on setting it all up? Swap and ext2 and stuff confuse me. Ubuntu was simple.

I found that the Beginners Guide, as long as you actually follow it from start to finish, makes it as simple as peeling a banana. Even I managed to install it.
Anything else you wonder about, try the Wiki for info on it, then search their forums (especially the Newbie corner), you're very rarely alone with your issue/question.

Make a 2GB swap partition and an ext3 (not ext2!) partition. That is enough for a basic setup.

I'm not exactly sure Arch is right for me. I know basic console commands, configure, cd, ls, stuff like that. I haven't gotten very far into it.

Arch is easy to learn. It will be a good experience for you. And they have a nice wiki too.

Arch is very nice. If you need help on something that the wiki doesn't explain well then just ask. Even though the installer isn't a GUI, I still think its easy and straight forward.
