Default No internet connection in FC4

I recently installed FC4 in a dual-boot setup on a computer. When I log in I get no connection to the internet. THen When I restart and log into windows I do not get any connection. I have to power off the computer for a while before I can get any internet in Windows.

You forgot to configure the OS to use DHCP to detect the network connection settings. use the netconfig command.

Taht is a good point about linux wireless networking.

Is this from a wireless or Ethernet network?

if it is wireless, please post the wireless card info and we can try to find the linux drivers for it.
