Is there a full list on compatible games for this? Also, Are you able to run the games in full screen? I've actually been contemplating going for a GTX 260 sp 216, but it'd be nice to not have to change a video card for an OS, though I understand the point you made about ATi's Linux driver support. I've been wanting to try out Ubuntu again, but I had no other use for it other than internet and music stuff, but then when I wanted to play a game, i had to reboot it to windows.

heh, sorry. I obviously have a lack of ability to pay attention to detail. I read the OP and just kinda posted. Sorry if I'm being very naive again, but how is the performance on Linux/Ubuntu (FPS wise) compared to Windows?

I'd just like to say Caedis (despite some rather lack luster welcomes from other members.
Your first 9 posts have been a great contribution to the community, and this is an almost perfect guide (video form would have been better for some ) and I for one, will definitely use this every time I am helping folks with Linux. As I constantly get approached by people for my "Awesome Looking Windows," for people to find out its Gnome Linux. Then I usually help them get a laptop, or secondary machine running Linux. But with this guide, I might be able to get a few guys running main machines and Linux. Because of how well put together this guide is, I'll probably not even need to help them with it. So I say to you, +Rep good sir, and I hope you enjoy your stay here at Overclock.net And just Remember, some things may be a little discouraging at first, but don't let that hold you back. If you have more Linux goodness to share, and the energy to make another A+ guide like this one, then go right ahead! Welcome! You are truly an asset to the community.

New FAQ and Links Section on OP. Added my simple (yet effective) shell script that simplifies this down to 2 clicks. (check OP links)
