Went with another provider, only option was CentOS. Works fine, SSH'd into it right now from work. 2ms ping, data center is less than 50 miles away.

Browsing is just as fast as without the SSH.

I've tried EVE Online, worked great. Haven't tried anything faster than that, but when I'm at work, I can't play games that require a ton of twitch (FPS) anyway. So for strategy/slower paced games.. this will be fine.

I've gamed through my home connection (SSH through Cygwin/OpenSSH) and it's playable, easily. And my ping to my home is ~50ms (25x more, hehe) and I was playing L4D over that reasonably. But it killed the connection for everybody at my house.
