Installing mozilla firefox
I need to install mozilla firefox, but I'm not sure what to do...linux newbie, can anyone tell me how to do it?

What distro?
I'll assume ubuntu: open synaptic. search firefox. click. apply changes. OR sudo apt-get install firefox (maybe mozilla-firefox) It should be installed in ubuntu...hrm. In that case sudo apt-get update ~

haha hey ouroboros, yeah its kubuntu, and it uses the standard for kde, konqueror, but I hate konqueror

Ah that's right kubuntu. Yeah just do what I posted first...should work...ubuntu's usually really great about packages...

Try K->system->somewhereoranother...it should be in the menu somewhere. It's gotta be there.
Or open a terminal and type sudo apt-get install firefox or possibly sudo apt-get install mozilla-firefox
