Windows is still so much more practical for gaming than Linux. If you want to try it in Linux just to get the experience, that's understandable. If you want it to work in Linux so that you don't have to reboot if you want to play a game, that's understandable. Other than that, I can't understand going out of one's way to run games (windows games, that is) on Linux.

Running games in Linux is no longer the problem. Running bloody VENT in Linux is the problem! Excuse me, I'm just ranting...

When it doesn't just crash outright, I get absolutely no sound. When it DOES crash outright, it can't be restarted again until I reboot the box. Oh well.

DO EET!!! I tried about 2-3 years ago shortly after ubuntu 7.10 came out and I have not looked back. I love linux!!!! But right now I am in love with Win7 as well ;_; oh my heart aches!
