Anyone have some suggestions on a program that would do essentially what MS Publisher does - no fancy features needed, but has to be relatively easy-to-use.

"OpenOffice" doesn't really answer my question at all, none of the programs really seem to do what MS Pub does... as for Scribus, I've tried it in the past and while it's somewhat alright for me, it didn't really cut it because, well, I honestly found it quite hard to use, and while I certainly would have no trouble learning it if need be, I'm looking for something my mum could use, you know what I mean... thanks for replying though.

Scribus is pretty much the best one. You won't get any better than that without going with MSPub in wine
