Word is you're the man to go to with Linux issues
I'm having some real trouble with my mouse. For some reason, my scroll wheel has developed a mind of its own and has decided to commandeer anything that responds to the scroll wheel. It seems to be interrupting other mouse functions, as well, because I have a real hard time dragging anything. Here's my xorg.conf mouse section: Section "InputDevice" # generated from default Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "auto" Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 It's a MS Wireless Laser 6000 v2

Aw crap, just noticed you're using 9.04 yeah I had all kinds of problems with my mouse even though it worked in 8.10. I went back to it this morning.

Yeah. I've been looking around the Ubuntu forums and it seems that a lot of people are having a lot of issues with 9.04. But then again, it may be the batteries, because it kinda does it in Windows now.

The section looks OK. You can try removing it - your HAL daemon will automatically take care of thing from there on.
Alternatively, editing "Device" to "/dev/mice" might be another option.
