Couple Questions On Dual Booting Ununtu and Xp

New to Overclock.net

Ok so I currently have a blank Hard drive right now and want to dual boot Ubuntu 9.04 and Windows xp.....
First question is: Which is better to install first? Ubuntu or Xp? Second question is: And is it Necessary for putting some swap space? I never really got this The rig im doing this on is in sig.

Overclock it or Die!

1. Install XP first, then Ubuntu. Reason: Windows XP's bootloader does not recognize Ubuntu but Ubuntu's detects XP!
2. Let the setup do all the partitions. Just select the drive and stuff and let it figure out how to divide it, it usually works out best. Swap space is like the pagefile, it's virtual memory.
