Backtrack 4 boots straight to grub command line interface
Alright, so I downloaded and installed Backtrack4 and burnt it to a DVD disc. Put it in my HP computer with a Pentium D, and the iso boots to a GRUB command line and I can't figure out why. No graphical interface. I looked at the How To Video and they don't get this, so... what exactly am I doing wrong? I honestly have no idea. If anyone needs a video, I will gladly record one for you.

Try, if you have a spare usb stick around, putting the iso on the usb pen. with "unetbootin", it looks like a bad burn but i can't be sure,
also i prefer bt3 to 4 although bt4 does boast a few improvements over bt3, good luck link to unetbootin : http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

That is really strange. Try booting it from a liveCD. Then when you get to command line type startx.
