Default Multi-LiveCD USB Boot?

I've been looking to recreate my own system tools suite.
I don't want to carry around 50 CDs or USB keys, so I was looking for a way to condense them into one single USB with a GRUB menu.

I found: http://florian.freundt.org/blog/?p=161
But, whenever I try booting into the ISO, it either pushes me to Busybox, or says the Media cannot be found.

I've found about a dozen other sources, which all essentially follow the same steps.

Anyone got a trick up their sleeze?
(NOTE: I don't want to use Linux Ultimate Boot CD or any premade. I'm looking to spin my own.)

I really want to try this, but I'm running on a Windows machine.

did you follow the instructions to the letter, they should work.

Also the pc's you are trying to boot from may be the problem, i had a problem like that a while back. I played with the BIOS settings till i got it working.

have you tried only putting one distro on?
If it worked you could try the second thing, just boot it up in live cd mode and make a multi-live cd.

Has anyone had a chance to test out that bash script I linked to?

Hak5? Really..

Just throw on grub and drop them on the drive. Add your kernel/root/rd entries and should be good to go.
