Default Fedora Install Problems

Well I tried to reinstall Fedora again on my PC because I did the i686 version instead of the x86_64 version.

Anyway I'm not having any luck whatsoever installing x86_64 as it keeps failing time and time again. I've tried using both the LiveCD USB image and the actual DVD ISO image from Fedora's site and both of them fail repeatedly.

The LiveCD USB image locks up my entire machine 25% into the install and the DVD ISO install keeps telling me theres errors on the disk when I run a test on it.

I've tried burning the x86_64 ISO image both at 4x and 16x and verify the written data on Nero before completing the burn and this is still happening.

Am I doing something wrong or should I just go back to i686 since this doesn't seem to want to work?

Not sure what an MD5 is *yet* (Gotta do some more reading)

On that same note I was able to use a bootload to my USB drive and do a "netinstall" instead and pointed it to an FTP side with the install.img

Took for fudging ever but it would appear I am now writing this reply from Fedora 11 x86_64 without any problems
