Default Skype

Does anybody have an older version of Skype that will run on Ubuntu 7.04, or tell me how the hell do you make Skype run on a version they call "ancient and unsupported"? You can't even slightly update this heap of crap.

You can find lots of previous versions of Skype on here. Filehippo is great for loads of stuff.

Good luck getting it to run, I wish I could provide more help about the Linux thing, but that's an area of knowledge that I'm lacking in.

It looks like you did not know that Skype has a Linux version? But the problem is that I not only need an old version, but a Linux version, because Skype crashes/is broken on wine no matter the version. Unlucky me

How bout trying to install the newest BETA?
Could fix your problem and is certainly easier than searching for an old version.

UBUNTU needs custom repositorys. google is your friend here on this one. AFTER installing these repository's, its as simple as SUDO apt-get install skype or .w.e.
