Fix Grub?
I have a laptop that came with vista. I got rid of it and installed win7 got board and dual booted with something i don't remember. I remember then grub took a long time to load. I installed Crunchbang only later and it seemed slower. So i tried reinstalling a few different distros and nothing seems to help.
I just timed it and it took about 30 seconds to load grub. I takes longer to load grub than my OS!
What can i do to fix this. I am not extremely linux savvy but can find my way around most stuff.
Also if anything requires a disk i cant, my disk drive is inop but i can use Usb drives.
