Default Help me convert these .bat and .url so Linux can use them

This is to connect to drives from a laptop and I have to use .bat and .url, but I am using Ubuntu. Is there a way to convert these so they do the same thing but on Linux? As you can see it uses Server 2000 and 2003. So, will it work and do I need samba or anything else?

Connect - JBCDrivesNew.bat
Code:
net use S: \\server2000\stufiles2$ password /user:jbcdomain\username
net use t: \\server2000\clfiles
Disconnect - JBCDrivesDisconnect.bat
Code:
net use T: /delete
net use s: /delete
This is to get on Moodle - JBC Student Learning System.url
Code:
[InternetShortcut]
URL=http://server2003/
IDList=
[{000214A0-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}]

Not sure about T:, but for S: just browse to smb://server2000/clfiles

For the shortcut... just make a launcher on your desktop that runs firefox with http://server2003/ as a commandline argument.

Try typing firefox http://server2003/ in a terminal to see what it does.

It just takes me to http://www.server2003.com/.
But smb://server2000/clfiles takes me to the T drive.
For the S drive I need to put in my user name and password because it is my folder.
I also don't care if I can't disconnect.

check out the smbmount command.

for the shortcut, try http://ip-of-server-machine/

it seems that your linux host can't resolve the 'server2003' name.

Append "129.1.1.1 server2003" to /etc/hosts to get the name resolution fixed.

Because it's exactly the thing needed. I have "I KNOW it, I just can't think of it" moments all day at work.
