Control Thunar with LIRC - Overclock.net

Is possible to make LIRC control thunar? (like the arrow keys do: move from 1 file to the next). I also want the back button to up 1 directory.

I would also like to make one of my remote buttons send "alt tab".

Although I can offer no insight, I would love to hear your outcome. I have never fooled with LIRC, but I'm very interested. Sorry if you saw my reply and it got your hopes up.

Alright, I seem to be making some progress, I will update here when I am complete to my satisfaction.
