How much is the FX8120 over in your side of the Pond - the USA. Its £129 over here in the UK but can be bough for as low as £119 in discounted stores... which is very Good for an 8 Core CPU can it beat the old i7's like the Intel i7-920 for example or i7-950 LGA1366 Motherboard. (1st Batch)

JUST out of curiosity mate.? I'm not an Intel fan-boy either nor AMD (However) I'm working on an AMD rig ATM. (My 1st one in 7 years) an FX8120 that's why I'm asking my question... Its doing well in Bubba testing for sure; boy I will be disappointed if it cannot beat the old i7-920's, seeing its the Hottest thing to leave AMD since the FX range 7 years ago... "The Bulldozer" nice name...

iam in england Geekerdom,i payed £130 just after christmas.it a very nice cpu if you compaire it againest the pII x4,which was the same price two years back.
we still dont have any 8 threaded games to throw at it yet.
and the heat,its nuts on priming.
