Yeah barely, and you have a 'golden chip' if you are legitimately hitting 5ghz at that frequency, you should change your rig name to 'I got lucky' also what are your temps?

All the features lol? It has pci-e 3.0 and a faster igpu. Big deal, haswell is going to blow the water out of both sandy and ivy most likely. Ivy was a tic iteration in their cpu releases, it's a slightly tweaked sandy.

The Memory Controller is twice as fast it is able to run PCi-e 3.0 16x16 it is 10% faster just as a cpu clock per clock on avg it uses less power.

3770k is equal in performance with a 3930k based system a Sandy Bridge 2700k is not.

Lol haswell wont even touch those speeds honestly haswell will probably be about 10-15% faster at stock comparisons. Intel is only focusing on lowering the power consumption and 5ghz is obtainable on ivy you just gotta delid. ^ (thats the earliest estimates but honestly a 3770k at 5.0ghz vs a haswell at 5.0ghz you would more then likely never notice a difference in real life applications)

People dont realize that honestly ivy destroys sandy all those reviews between Ivy vs sandy were done before delid became popular meaning it was 4.5ghz sandy vs 4.5 ghz ivy people were like sandy can hit 5ghz easy, so can Ivy.

lots and lots of ivy hate....And its not lucky to hit 5 ghz on a 3770k just takes water and a delid to keep temps in check no gold here
