| Description | I built this rig over the course of 3+ years. It all started after a summer of working at a grocery store, first thing I did was spend it all on a rig consisting of a Rampage II Gene, i7 920 and a single 5870. It`s been through several changes now, replaced my original Scythe Mugen 2 to a H60 - which I broke, and now here I am with the beast that is Noctua. I then bought another 5870 about 6 months in after getting 2 additional monitors. I started doing a lot more rendering and autocading, saved up some more money and switched out the 5870s for 580s. My Gene bugged out on me and I had it RMAed, then ended up purchasing a UD5r from an OCN member here. Gave my new Gene to a good friend of mine who worked at Canada computers as a gift, along with my Scythe mugen 2. With all that said, here we are again, switching out parts and getting ready to OC :) |
