I am folding now. My MacBook's fans are maxed right now at 6200 RPM and my CPU temp is 88. Well, guess I might open this up later and reapply the thermal paste or something.

Heat is why I won't fold with my laptop. I don't want to put my CPU through that. It gets ridiculously hot and the fans get ridiculously loud at load.

This is why I take my battery out when my laptop is at home (which is most of the time.) This locks the CPU's multi at its lowest, so the CPU runs only at 1GHz (and a lower voltage.) Therefore, at load at this speed, the max temp is only around 55C.

Anyway, speaking of heat, I got one of those laptop coolers, and they seem to help. It has dropped my temp about 5-7C, from around 48-52C to 39-42C.
