have you had any problems with it yet cos i have

i can't get usb sticks up
slot loading dvd dive dosen't work aswell i.e. i have to push it ferver in neely show no next and before it uset to suck it in half way
charger light wrong colours + syboles are wrong in top toolbar showing charged when not plug in and so on

i now there was a update for my charge problem whcich i had installed

I have had none of the above aforementioned problems. In fact, I have had zero problems whatsoever. The only trouble I had was tweaking the disk to get it to run on my model

For some odd reason, I can only install via USB HDD. The "backed up" disk just doesn't boot, although it works perfectly fine for installing programs and such when I'm already in the OS.

There are minor annoyances, like having to connect manually to windows computers instead of viewing the work group, and the 3D Dock and the lack of black triangles as indicators and the Dashboard never having an indicator. But other than that, I've had zero major problems. I'm enjoying it being faster

Does this happen even if you do a clean install?

I did a complete clean install. I booted one of my Tiger backup partitions from USB, wiped the internal SATA HDD, chose "boot from USB Mac OS X Install Disc 1," then installed from there.

Sounds like you're having a lot of problems... Do you think it could be faulty hardware?

It is faulty hardware. Leopard shouldn't ever cause problems since its designed for the computers, and a clean install should fix any OS related problems.

So somethings wrong with his Mac.

The software can still glitch/error/mess up regardless of what it was built for. But with ALL those problems (which sound like hardware problems anyway), I'm not sure it's the software.
