Yeah last I heard Apple was against letting OSX run in a virtual environment. So OSX is a VM is a no.
Also, like already said, running OSX on anything but Apple hardware is against Apples EULA, and therefore, illegal.

Basically if OSX is not on native Apple hardware its illegal.

I'm sure theres some descent recording software in Linux or windows though.

Yeah, Linux should do fine. There ought to be some fine recording software out there; you just gotta look in the repositories.

AMD V Intel makes no difference as they are both x86 architecture compatible, even if they are x64 chips. The thing is it is illegal to do so i wont explain how you can do it (dont wanna get banned haha)

But yes linux is no problem and dual boot works on both AMD and Intel, because again, they are just different versions of the same basic principles

EDIT: just a tip if its your first time with linux, i would suggest Ubuntu, you can download the disc image or they will send the disc out free to your house i think its just ubuntu.com

Hmm. Wasn't there a tiny little lawsuit that had a judge say that you can't limit an OS to hardware. So technically Apple is breaking the law by putting it in their EULA.

Pretty sure that downloading a hacked disk is illegal. Either that, or sharing a hacked disk. In any case, someone has done something illegal lol

I had Leopard running on my TL-60 using VMWare when it was first released. I wasn't aware that it was illegal though but how can it be illegal there's no law against it. It's just a civil copyright infringement matter which can be argued both ways.

Anywho......

It does work on an AMD based processor.

Edit: I used a different guide than the one posted but essentially they work the same.

You can buy the hacked software? Well, then that's illegal for the person selling it.

The hacked disk isn't the same thing as the disk you buy in the store.
