Well I havent had a chance to mess with it at all. I've spent the last 5 days getting OS X to dual boot on an x38 setup with Vista. That build has taken priority ATM. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get a highpoint RAID to work (the ICH9R doesnt work...). I'm also working on a step-by-step guide on how I did it (wont be posting as it is against the TOS).

Update: I will take some pics this weekend, but my brother just got a G5 Mac case with the motherboard (and nothing else), so We are going to try to rebuild it. IDK what the motherboard is yet, so I will take some pics and post. Any ideas OCN has for the G5 and the G4 are welcomed!

The G5 needs LGA771 CPUs and FB-DIMMs. Kinda pricy :/

You're thinking of the Mac Pro, the G5 runs ONLY with G5 processors and uses normal DDR ram (NOT DDR2)

If it has two DVD bays, then its a Mac Pro. If it has one then its a G5

Good point, I forgot about that. My brother just got it today from his Graphics Design firm. So I will check it out tomorrow and post back.

edit: my brother had to work today for a client so I couldnt go over. But he looked up the info and found that it is a dual CPU motherboard with 2.0GHz Motorola CPUs (non Pro Mac). Now I have to source out some parts.
