What the heck? I was talking about my own personal experience. I didn't say "OMG YOU GOT AN IMAC?! LOL! SUX4U!". And by the way, I had forgotten about the price of a monitor. Most people have monitors before they buy a new computer anyway.

So it's not a bad deal at all.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything until you posted that bit about Mac monitor quality... You apparently have not been keeping up on things because Mac was caught skimping on their monitor quality a while back. A very low color gamut.

Yeah. I actually noticed this with my MacBook. The viewing angle is absolutely HORRIBLE!

Pretty sure that was an issue only in the 20" displays, and it isn't the most recent ones.

I think you are correct, but that would mean not all Mac monitors are super duper. Plus, I'd like to see some specs before I believe they would cost $500 minimum from any other manufacturer.

I think you will enjoy your iMac - especially the whole being contained in the monitor bit. Very nice fit pretty much anywhere.

Yeah I did lose my job, but I got another one!! Making alot more @ Lowes Hardware and my dad spotted me the money for this months rent.

I am only living in an apartment paying my own rent for 3 months, just the summer.

Sorry I didn't make that more clear, but now I work 80 hours a week getting $10/hr so I am happy

Also, about the monitor quality, the guy I am buying it from says it looks amazing and I know that the new ones don't have that issue you guys were talking about. The resolution is 1920x1200 which is pretty ridiculous for a 24" monitor.

1920x1200 is standard for a 24" widescreen, just so you know.

I'd respond in kind but I'm going to refrain from taking your bait for the sake of the thread.
