we use macs at college. I HATE! them. i dont know why people say they dont crash because they sure do at my college lol. Luckily theres only one room with macs in so we dont have to use them

But yeah i really doubt 80% of companies use macs. especially as most companies use dell computers

I work in the IT industry and less than %1 of our customers have Macs..........we do run Linux and Unix servers though.
Maybe they surveyed people in the entertainment industry?

I wouldn't be surprised if one macbook is enough for them to consider the company having macs I can believe that 80% have one employee that has one macbook that is used for work. Still propaganda.

Macs have become a status symbol. But there's some great software for them, which I why I like them. Garage Band is completely awesome

I'm not buying this 80%, I'm sure there are some businesses that do use them but they are a minority imho. From what I have seen (and I work for a contractor who works for the government) is about 99.9% Dell's.

BS, I almost never see macs inside office buildings. Only place I see them is elementary and middle schools :P

I must say, I work with structural companies and alot of archetectual businesses that have over 200/300 computers with people running autocad on them and no one uses a MAC or even a apple period. There is one business I work with and they have a MAC pro in their main office but its running dual boot with XP on it and they dont even use OSX maybe 5% of the time it's turned on.

I also work with a lot of small businesses and doctors offices and I've never had to deal with a mac but only a few times and it was because I had to setup a wireless network in a doctors office and 2 of the doctors had a Macbook and I had to setup their wireless with it.


For me to deal the greater Birmingham area 9 hours a day 6 days a week you would think if 80% of the world businesses used MAC I'd seen more of them, well I haven't.
