That's interesting. Macs I have no problems against them, I own a macbook. Perfect for work, no games and performance ain't the best. They may not be as fast as their PC counter parts but I find my laptop VERY stable.

I realize this, but something always told me that software pre-installed on the computer wasn't right.

But you probably don't have a problem with this since you're fond of m$...

Although I say the same should go for apple/OSX as well.

It's not so much I'm fond of MS (like i'm not a big 360 guy) i just like my PC. From everything i know Windows is simply a great operating system. Almost all the issues found in Windows don't stem from the OS they stem from bad 3rd party programmers and support for outdated and badly written code.

So they go into 100 business and theres 299 Computers running Windows and 1/2 macs for the graphics. That business gets put into the "we use macs section"

£10 says thats how they figure that out.
If thats the case then 100% business's use windows.
Whats their point?

The windows computers at the libraries don't even have start buttons. It's like a windows XP professional crippled down hardcore to kiosk mode, where the start page is a list of the aforementioned applications. So they pay for XP licenses and cripple it down to that and 640x480 resolution.... When Linux can do the same exact thing for free.

I'd bet you that people wouldn't even notice.

The company I used to work for had 1 Mac for testing purposes (a Mac Mini). I think it was used once or twice and then sat on the guy's desk unused for the next 2 years I was there. I guess, technically, that's a business that "uses" a Mac according to this.

Funny enough, this company did legal services for electronic discovery. We would get data from thousands of different companies and locations to process it. I think I can count on one hand the number of times that we either received or were asked if we could process Mac data in the 3+ years I worked there...
