the battery is actually pretty good. it was dead when i got it and when it finished charging i unpluged it and it showed about 3 hours of battery life though i am sure there are still batteries out there maybe even from apple?

The thing about batteries is that they degrade over time, whether they've actually been in use or not. Just having age weakens them, so even if you got a brand new one still in the box say from 2003 or 2004, it's not going to be "as good a new."

Boot Camp works great. I'm surprised how well Call of duty WaW and Modern Warfare run on my MBP. Go for it guys.

Hey has anyone installed Windows 7 via Bootcamp yet? I am going to do it soon, and I was just wondering how well it works. I don't wanna put it on my main rig until I have tried it and like it.

I had no problems with Windows 7 on my MacBook. Everything worked like the mic, bluetooth Mighty Mouse, and function keys.

The gameplay for Left 4 Dead was pretty smooth for a MacBook. I haven't tried Windows Xp for gaming yet but after I read the reviews here, I decided not to.

That's the method I used to install Windows 7 via Bootcamp. I'm not sure if there are other methods other than using a USB thumb drive to install Windows but you can try if you'd like.

Ok, thanks! +rep.

However, my dvdrw is broken, so when I get my i7 rig set up I will bring it to the Apple store and have em fix it.

When I insert a disc it makes this weird loud clicking noise and doesn't recognize the disc. Then I have to restart to eject it. I had 1 problem on my first unibody with the fan running and the hdd making weird clicking sounds, so they swapped it out. Hoepfully 3rd time is the charm.
