It appears some of the MacBooks can indeed have a single 4GB as well as a 2GB SO-DIMM installed, for a total of 6GB - but there is no mention of it on Apple's site, and it is not officially supported. 8GB doesn't work on regular MacBooks, however..

Doesn't explain why he'd edit the screenshot, though..

I know in the 2009 Macbook Pros it is possible to have over 4GB, but this guy is blatantly lying with his awful Photoshopping skills
