if thats all your doing go mini and get the max on RAM you will be fine!

If u don't want to game or overclock there is no point in not getting the mac.

The mini is great and breezes through OSX. I recommend you get 2GB's of RAM over the 1GB.

That's not what I meant. If you wanted to buy the components and assemble the computer yourself, and then install OSX on it, it wouldn't work.
