Now to everyone who thinks the i7 doesn't work or Mast3rRoot does not have it in his system your wrong. He is a close friend of mine and I know for a fact that he bought the i7 bent the pins and put it in his mac and it works. I have seen that computer eat through its battery life in less than 45 min idle. now go ahead and say its impossible nut I know what I have seen and that Macbook has a i7 in it. :0

How did he get the old CPU out? It's soldered from the inside. And how did he solder the new one on the inside.

so he bent the pins on the mobo? bcuz im pretty sure intel gave up putting pins on chips a while ago... and it just happens to fit what is it socket P? (corrrect me if im wrong)

The CPU is SOLDERED TO THE MOTHERBOARD. THERE ARE NO PINS.

And LOL he has changed it back to core 2 duo. Another thing... i7 has the memory controller built in. Intel mobile cpus need a chipset like the northbridge for interfacing with the memory. How the hell will the i7 work if it isn't designed to work with a chipset and doesn't have a direct bus link to the memory?
