No one is talking about storage. If it plays HD Movies it better comes with a big hard drive.

I was thinking that as well. Even if it does do 1080P, it's probably worth putting only 480P content on it to save space + the screen is so small anyways. What I'm most interested is the CPU, RAM, and HDD space. The rest should be minimal to save on power and costs.

The only thing that I think is definitive is that it has to run on an x86 processor. An ARM based processor is not compatible with OSX software (while the iphone runs a stripped down OSX, it doesn't run regular apple programs).
