I just wanted to let you guys know before a news thread is created that I can confirm that 10A432 is the retail copy that will be arriving tomorrow!

My Uncle has the official/Retail copy of it, and it is indeed 10A432.

So that means the Golden Master thoughts were right all along, but I do see a fix coming shortly as there are a few problems still in 10A432/Retail.

I would have him give me a copy, but my copy should arrive tomorrow or Saturday depending on how it's shipped.

Still, I was slightly hoping 10A432 wasn't going to be retail because of the bugs I found and submitted.

did he check for updates? were there any waiting to be downloaded? just curious how mast they will have the first update out lol.

He hasn't responded back to me. All he told me, was that his arrived tonight at 5PM, and that it was just finished installing and that it's 10A432 when he checked by clicking the 10.6 in About This Mac, same as for me right now on 10A432.

I also thought they weren't being shipped out UNTIL Friday, but I have no reason to believe my Uncle is just going to make stuff up.

I just checked for updates, and I don't have any, so I doubt he would either, since we are on the same build.

I still wish Apple would have put an updated build as Retail, since there's still some bugs.

I doubt it'll be long before 10.6.1 is released.

I'm going to say by September 1st.

Yay! Now I can finally go and upgrade the HDD on my MBP. Been waiting to do that until Snow Leopard GM came out. w00t!

I'm going to be doing a full backup and probably do a fresh install then restore from the backup. For some reason my drive has been asking funny and I can't create a boot camp partition.
