Hey Mac guys..
I'm wondering if I can get a Flashget alternative for mac, or a version of it that works for Mac? I think its necessary that it has a "Log in to Server" option.

dTa plug-in for Firefox is about the best. Try also web-kit based's Get if you want the simplest interface. Not fancy enough? they check Yazsoft's Speed Download.
