Default mouse acceleration
Anyone know of a OS X program that will make the mouse acceleration on my usb mouse more like windows?

Not sure if it'll match your particular version of OS X, but you're not the only one who wants better mouse acceleration. Head over here and decide for yourself if you want to download the option presented there...
Or for a few bucks, SteerMouse is a not-freeware option to consider.


Lord knows, google can help you find other choices too...

USB Overdrive is what I use.

I prefer it over Steer Mouse, as I had some crazy usability problems with Steer Mouse with my Mighty Mouse as well as my Microsoft Arc and Laser 5000 I believe it is.

I have mine set for:

Speed: 200 DPI

Acceleration: 125%

And it works just like it does on Windows, at least almost exactly. MUCH better than default OS X.
