Question How to let OSX detect HDs in Raid?

After I insert my OSX disc to install OSX, It starts doing all the initial checks in the beginning. But when it reaches that part were is has to detect my hard drive, it basically says that there are none there. My harddrives are in RAID0, and I was told by a friend that you have to enter a command to get it to see them.. How do I get OSX to see my HD's so I can install OSX?

(OSX is going on my sig rig)

**Edit
The error I get is "Still waiting for root device", and that is with Kalyway 10.5.2

Go into Utilities, Then Disk Utility and there should be a tab in there for RAID.

Were is utilities? I found the Options one (F8), and I checked through advanced options and the help file, but I didn't see anything that looked relevant. (also I added the error message I am getting in my OP)

He's referring to the tool you use to manage disks *once you're in OS-X*!

You're trying to get it installed. Might want to search the sites that discuss hackintosh - not permitted here.

You're asking for help with a Hackintosh which is against the ToS. There are other sites that are specifically for Hackintosh systems.

You've installed OS X on a non-Apple machine which is against the EULA. There is a Sticky at the top of this section stating you to not ask help with Hackintosh machines or discuss them.
