The UI of Macs sometimes resonate with some people. Other people are not impressed and thinks Windows UI is fine. Other people hate Mac and Windows UI and instead run some alternative desktop manager.
__________________Once upon a time, Macs were more stable than Windows (i.e. Windows ME). Since XP SP1 came out, Macs being extremely stable over Windows is not so true anymore. OS X was fairly stable, but prior versions of MacOS were kind of buggy and crashed a lot (especially OS 9). Windows has a higher risk than Macs for getting random viruses due to larger market share. I would not necessarily place blame on Windows anymore because Vista/7 has become more *nix like with its OS. Despite what people think, there are always security problems with *nix but proper distributions quickly fix these flaws. Windows can have more hardware configuration problems do to the amount of choice available to people. Under a Mac ecosystem, hardware choice is extremely limited and expensive. Bug-checking 3 different hardware configurations is much easier for Apple than Microsoft bug checking for infinite hardware configurations. Snow Leopard has a bunch of problems now due to Apple running their first ever 64-bit OS. Yes, in 2009 Apple finally migrated to 64-bit! All prior versions of MacOS were 32-bit. The creative industry is historically Apple-favored. Nowadays, many viable creative applications can be run on Windows just as well as on a Mac. Maybe if you really love spending $1000 on Final Cut Pro, then Apple will suit you. Otherwise, Windows has an app for you. Many companies make cross-platform creative products that work on Windows and Mac. But if my company's livelihood has been doing well under Macs, I would not question sticking with Macs.

Yeah, this may be overclock.net, but it doesnt mean you can run your mouth like a dimwit. People who buy mac's are not looking for the best gaming machine they can buy. Same with people with HP's or Dells. So yes, how stupid of you. (also, cute name for your PC.. Its like people who name their cars. hahahahaha)

And they aren't really problems, I've been going brilliantly having done both an upgrade, and a clean install. I think the majority of the problems are from upgrading Leopard that has too much haxie trash on it. SL 10.6.2 should fix a lot of issues, apparently it's a 500MB (roughly) update!
