True, and its so much more than just the software. My MBP is a very well built, solid, light weight system that withstands abuse daily. It has an amazing battery life, huge multi-touch trackpad (Love it!), Beautiful LED Screen, Mag-safe power adapter, chicklet keys, ability to run both major OS's, awesome customer care, stores with repair centers and knowledgeable associates. There is so much more to it than just the OS. Its funny to me when people hate on them? Why? I dont get it. Ive also had numerous PCs that I have loved for many reasons as well! ITS PREFERENCE! Grow up and get over it.

The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M brings amazing graphics performance to MacBook, so you can enjoy your favorite 3D games — from Spore to Call of Duty — with fast, seamless gameplay. Graphics-intensive features in iPhoto and iMovie are smooth and responsive. Movies and video offer rich colors and fine details. NVIDIA performance even makes a difference as you flip through your music library with Cover Flow or use Dashboard.
Nothing wrong with that statement?
They aren't claiming you're able to max Crysis out...I play CoD, and OPFP2 on my MBP, and they are more than 'playable,' I can play enjoyably with relatively high settings.

Honestly I'd rather have a dual core, and a 9Mseries GPU in my laptop than a i7m and a GTX2mSeries...I want my laptop for portability, not to max out NFS:Shift...commenting on laptop specs and "laughing" about them is ridiculous, and ignorant.

No need to point out someone's system in negativity. He probably got a mac for many of the reasons stated in the previous, if not then it's preference.

What I see as interesting is I have an Acer laptop (see systems) that I use when I sit down with clients that have Macs. When we review their landscape design, I will sit right there and make changes, drag and drop, photo edit, render, bada bing, bada boom, done. I have never had an issue, and they take a second look at my laptop to see what I am hiding. Your average consumer dosnt have a clue what they are buying , much less how to properly use it. Again , look how Mac markets their PC's. Most Mac users know how to use it. Cant say the same for the IBM market. I am not a Mac hater, more power to them. Its a free market. I just wish Microsoft will get off their a$$ and market their products in a positive manner. I am almost ashamed to watch some of their lame commercials, its like they want to keep their consumers ignorant.

I agree with you to the most part, I've found myself to be MUCH more productive using OSX, using a combination of Space, Expose, and finger gestures, I seem to be getting a lot more done.

Cubase is infact the most popular, but yes, Logic is a great application nonetheless.

Oh, im not laughing at laptop horsepower, im very well aware about the hardware limitations of a laptop, but look, if you take a top of the line alienware and put it beside a MBP, you'll notice a difference, now if you look at the very last line i wrote, the key part, everyone is different should have jumped out at you like a screaming banshee. I personally would never use a mac (voluntarily) because im into games and other stuff the a PC is better suited for, i don't own an ipod, i have an iriver T30, so there is no apple software that i need. But again, everyone is different, does everyone have iriver T30's and play Crysis? no they don't. Mac hardware is fail IMO because you can get a PC laptop that packs alot more punch. And don't even get me started on ignorance, you just took my post wrong

Again, as i said, everyone is different, different needs, different wants, different values etc. Im sure macs have very useful and practical functions, but compared to a PC (laptop to be fair) it is fail IMO, my cousin picked up a 399 CAD laptop that packs more punch than the mac that my buddy wated for 1400, so why would you pay over 3x as much for worse hardware, notice i said the material is fail, meaning hardware, not the software that makes mac unique
Apple has been consistantly putting out new and inovative software that has literally changed the course of history, however they prices they ask for, on a relatively weak platform is a bit ridiculous IMO.
