The title gets me too. Gamers should rejoice about a mac? Don't make me laugh.

I play games on my MBP, (current games too) Operation Flashpoint 2, COD4, etc. and they work fine on my 9600M. So yes - if you put a Mac laptop and a top of the line Alienware next to each other, sure there will be a difference. Not only does the most expensive Alienware almost cost 1.5K more than the most expensive Mac, it is much heavier, battery life is garbage compared to it, and it might as well be a desktop as you really can't play games without it plugged in. Weak platform? Are you kidding? Core 2 Duo, Decent Video Card, and 2-4GB of RAM is enough to run just about everything these days, you might not max out "the latest game," but buying a Mac [laptop] isn't about gaming, it's about portability, stability, fuctionality, and performance. I've had my Mac laptop running for 2-3 weeks now, when I close the lid, and come back a little later within 3 seconds it's back to where I was, Wi-Fi working, it weighs under 5 pounds, my battery is phenomenal, and my productivity has shot up. I mainly use my desktop for gaming, and my Mac serves other purposes than just gaming (when you get a bit older you'll find there's more to life than just games). I also suggest you try a Mac, before making half-assed comments.

You didn't really get the OS, well that's hard to believe, it's simple, but can be more advanced if YOU make it advanced, but first time running, etc. etc. it's about as simple as they can be. And honestly dude, laptops are not only about gaming. And I'm done here
