I have an old G4 desktop my father wants to revive. He wants to get a bigger Hard Drive for it (currently uses a 27GB). Does any Hard Drive work? I know the interface on it is ATA/66, would a ATA/100 HDD work?
Thank you!

yes a ata 100 would work, but you can't put in bigger then 120 gig without partitioning the drive.

Do I have to partition while installing OSX? If not, is it too much of a pain to partition after OSX is installed?
