Good: looks great, plays music, access to iTunes, touch screen
Bad: Pricey, no bluetooth (as far as I know), no tactile keyboard, no GPS, no EVDO/3G high speed connection
Personally, I will have an AT&T Tilt, Verizon Voyager, or HTC Mogul before the iPhone.

BAD: hardware problems.
-speakers aren't that loud on current model
-max 16gb model
- receded headphones port so you have trouble using other headphones.
-uses EDGE which can be slow as hell in certain areas or very snappy if you have good reception in the current area (it does WiFi though which makes up for it IMHO)

The good: Just about anything else you can think of can be added or updated via software so in theory the phone is a pretty good investment as long as your ok with the hardware lackings.

Best thing to do is just go to apples site and watch their videos on the iphone and read the specifics about it. That should help you decide.

I think my buying this phone was the best thing i have ever bought and well worth the money. But other will disagree of coarse.

Sure you should buy an iPhone

You may also want to considering buying the following instead:

-Playstation 3 and some BR DVDs
-Feeding the poor
-A new Video Card... that 8600 has to go lol
-A new engine for your car

Not convenient for anything.

Its hot, I"ll give you that, but do you really need to spend $400 on just a cell phone that you can 1) easily crack the large LCD screen (if you have the keys in the same pocket for instance...like the ipod) or 2) lose it and you'll lose $400 from your wallet. IMO I"ll just be as happy with a $200 phone that is equally as functional but not one of those robbery-victim phones. People at my school with iphones have had theirs stolen several times because it is hot and looks nice and is expensive.

You humanitarian! Folding for the Cure, Feeding the Poor, and Removing 7600GT Impersonators from the Earth shows you really care.

I just hate the iPhone's touch screen, I need a keyboard for speed typing. I am biased against all Apple products, but the iPhone has flaws regardless.
