Try this for the delete:
Go to your email settings (it has its own icon in your home menu) and it should list your emails and have an option for edit and delete. click on delete.

Other things to try:
Settings --> Options --> Advanced Options --> Service Book. Scroll to the item invalid@email.com[CMIME], click the wheel and select Delete.

Afterwards, shut down your device, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in and restart. Let me know if that works.

If you are trying to delete a personal email account, try this:
Your BlackBerry Internet Service or Web Client account can be integrated with up to ten email accounts. The accounts that are supported are POP3, IMAP, Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail. If for any reason you wanted to remove an email account do the following:

To remove an integrated email account:

1. Connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service web site and log in to your BlackBerry account.
2. On the navigation bar, click Profile. In the Profile list, click other email accounts.
3. Under the Email Accounts list, check the box beside the email account that you want to remove.
4. Click Delete. You will be prompted with a warning message. Click Yes to continue. This will remove the integrated account from your BlackBerry Internet Service account.

As for the username:
Can you give more details? are you on a BIS or BES account? In otherwords, are you using yoru blackberry with an email set up by your work that connects to the work network? or are you checking your personal emails?

Anyway, try these, since your username is USUALLY (but not necessarily) before the '@' in your email address
Open a an email sent to BIS address and scroll to your name and open the Menu and select Show Address.

No problem.

I think you have BIS. BES is for business class emails.
