Default iphone drop in water how to fix it?

My iphone has contacted liquid, the screen started turning black on and off. I turn the iphone off immediately and I used a blow dryer to dry it. What else can I do to help bring back my iphone alive??

Note: someone says put in rice how would that help??

let it sit for a few days to make sure all the water is gone.

Or open it up and put it in the sun for a day

Water damage to electrical devices usually mean they're gone for good. Does the phone power on now, if so what issues are you having?

Put your iphone in a bowl of uncooked rice and let it dry.

DO NOT power the unit on.

Rice? Maybe rice likes to absorb moisture. Silica gel packets would work better. Enclose the phone with some of those in an airtight space.

They should be lying around all over, unless your dog eats them all like mine does...

Do not power the phone on until you're absolutely sure it's dry. Depending on what liquid got in it, you might want to rinse it with distilled water (with the battery out.)

Sort of, get a ziploc bag and put uncooked rice in it, stick the phone in ther and let it sit for atleast 4 hours. If it doesn't work let it sit for a whole day then try.
