My sister has one... it is ok. I have had Nokia phones since 2000, and right now my favorite is the N95. You can pick up a used one for cheap on eBay. The N95 can run so many applications it is crazy, and it is the last Nokia phone made with an IR port which means you can still use the Total IR Remote program. The picture quality is awesome (5MP) and the sound quality is even better. Battery life is good.

If you want a touch screen Nokia get the N97 or wait a few more weeks and drop some coin on the N900 (which will be amazing).

The only reason I would get a 5800 music xpress is due to its small size... there are many better Nokia phones in my opinion.
how is the loud speaker ont he 5800 when playing music? I also heard the new firmware for the 5800 will overclock the cpu to the clocks of the n97.

I had not heard about the overclocking... but remember that OC on a mobile device will drastically reduce battery life. The speakers on my N95 are way louder than the speakers on the 5800.

It is still good, every Nokia speaker I have ever heard is pretty good (better than any other phone maker any way), the N95 is just louder (still good quality too though).

I wanted a nokia without a kepad or keyboard., that is my reason for choosing 5800

Ah, well if that is the case then the 5800 is your only choice as far as Nokia's go.
