No they don't run on GSM network "Global Statile Messaging" Sorry for spelling they run on CDMA "Code division multiple access" So no you can't sorry only phone 2 carries work on it T-Mobile and AT-T unless out of the US more networks do!

I believe iPhone uses GSM, which is pretty lenient for phone owners
Verizon uses CDMA, unless they approve it and any "extra" functions besides calling and text you are out of luck on their network (i know >.<)

or.. you can get the new strom 9550 that was released like two hours ago

i hear some bad things about att. like they drop calls all the time and such. iv had like 3 friends switch from att to verizon for the better service.
