Contracts up with nextel, time to get something new. I'm thinking a smart phone but i don't know much about them. I hear verizon has good service and I'm thinking about getting it through them, is that a good idea?

If you go with Sprint, wait until Nov 3rd when the Samsung Moment comes out.

I would do some research on what phones are best in your area. if you are in a large area all of them should work fine. I recommend T-mobile, best prices, best customer service, and everywhere I have lived I have had great service. As far as smart phones, take your pick. Any recent WM phone should do you well.

I've been with Cingular and Verizon. I originally had Verizon; amazing call quality! My dad then decided to switch to Cingular (Now AT&T) to save money, and he immediately regretted it. Literally 1/5 calls dropped for us, and sometimes others would call my cell but the phone would never pick up the incoming call for some odd reason. After two years (had to get out of the contract), we switched back to Verizon ever since. It's more expensive than Cingular/AT&T, definitely, but it's worth it in my opinion.
